Springfield is a city in Effingham County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,703 as of the 2020 census. The city is the county seat of Effingham County{{cite web| url=http://www.naco.org/Counties/Pages/FindACounty.aspx| accessdate=2011-06-07| title=Find a County|publisher=National Association of Counties}} and a part of the Savannah metropolitan area.
History

Geography

If navigated via GA, it is {{convert|26|mi}} south to Savannah and {{convert|33|mi}} northwest to Sylvania. While GA 119 leads southwest {{convert|5|mi|0}} to Guyton and north {{convert|12|mi}} to the South Carolina border.
