He played one season with the Boston Braves in 1944.{{cite web |url=https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/k/kloppst01.shtml |title=Stan Klopp Stats |website=baseball-reference.com |publisher=sports-history.com |accessdate=December 25, 2018}}

Klopp's lone victory came on July 30 over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Entering the game to replace an injured pitcher, Klopp successfully retired the next 2 batters before being replaced when the Braves next batted. The Braves regained the lead in that inning, with Klopp recording the victory.{{cite web |title=Boston Braves 6, Pittsburgh Pirates 4 (1) |url=https://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1944/B07301BSN1944.htm |accessdate=December 25, 2018 |website=retrosheet.org |date=July 30, 1944}}
