Content
The channel originally began with Dadbeh presenting theories regarding the mysteries that were set up by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. From there, the channel has grown and evolved over the years, with recurring motifs and series such as Star Wars Explained, a narration of many of the Star Wars comics, animated (and often humorous) fan fiction, and many others. Dadbeh's 2018 fan film Vader Episode I: Shards of the Past has received praise from among the Star Wars fanbase and has been viewed over 30 million times on YouTube as of April 2025.{{Cite web |date=2019-01-15 |title=Star Wars Theory made a Vader fan film, which has been struck down by Disney's music publisher (UPDATE) |url=https://www.newsweek.com/star-wars-theory-disney-youtube-claim-copyright-reddit-1293172 |access-date=2021-10-18 |website=Newsweek |language=en}}

Dadbeh has been involved in a few controversies. In December 2020, private tweets by Lucasfilm Story Group executive Pablo Hidalgo were criticized for allegedly mocking Dadbeh’s emotional YouTube video reaction to the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian. After the tweet became public, Hidalgo apologized and clarified that the tweet was meant to be sarcastic.{{cite news |last1=Vary |first1=Adam B. |title=How a Lucasfilm Exec's Tweet Reopened the Wounds of 'The Last Jedi' |url=https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/star-wars-theory-pablo-hidalgo-luke-skywalker-1234875850/ |work=Variety |access-date=2 May 2021 |date=29 December 2020|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201230203951/https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/star-wars-theory-pablo-hidalgo-luke-skywalker-1234875850/|archive-date=30 December 2020|url-status=live}}{{cite web |last1=Schroeder |first1=Audra |title=Lucasfilm exec locks down after tweet about 'Star Wars' fan's 'emotions' |url=https://www.dailydot.com/unclick/star-wars-lucasfilm-pablo-hidalgo-twitter/ |publisher=The Daily Dot |access-date=2 May 2021 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201229000127/https://www.dailydot.com/unclick/star-wars-lucasfilm-pablo-hidalgo-twitter/ |archive-date=29 December 2020 |date=28 December 2020 |url-status=live}}{{cite news |last1=Scribner |first1=Herb |title=Why are people mad at Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo? |url=https://www.deseret.com/entertainment/2020/12/28/22203209/star-wars-theory-youtube-lucasfilm-pablo-hidalgo-controversy |access-date=30 December 2020 |work=Deseret News |date=2 May 2021 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201228225441/https://www.deseret.com/entertainment/2020/12/28/22203209/star-wars-theory-youtube-lucasfilm-pablo-hidalgo-controversy |archive-date=28 December 2020|url-status=live}}
In January 2024, Dadbeh interviewed a relationship psychologist who claimed that women do not watch Star Wars and criticized female-focused Star Wars stories. The backlash from the interview shed light on Dadbeh's past strong and sometimes negative opinions surrounding female characters, including his statements that Disney executives had been creating and centering female characters as part of an agenda.{{cite magazine |last1=Jones |first1=CT |title=His Guest Said Women Don't Like Star Wars.
