An outdoor 2007 bronze sculpture of Martin Luther King Jr. by American artist Ed Dwight{{cite web|title=Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.|url=http://www.houstontx.gov/parks/artinparks/drmartinlutherking.html|publisher=City of Houston|access-date=October 21, 2015}} is installed in Hermann Park's McGovern Centennial Gardens in Houston, Texas, United States.{{cite web|title=Points of Interest: Hawkins Sculpture Walk|url=http://www.hermannpark.org/poi/127/|publisher=Hermann Park Conservancy|access-date=October 21, 2015}} The sculpture was vandalized with white paint in August 2017. John D. Harden, Margaret Kadifa, Mike Morris, and Brooke A.
