Steve Kerry of HotNewHipHop gave a positive review, writing "Lil Wayne's chances in this game are improving with each new release, and We Be Steady Mobbin is no exception - quite the opposite, in fact. It's a nice addition to the impressive catalogue Lil Wayne has been building over the years."{{cite web |last1=Kerry |first1=Steve |title=We Be Steady Mobbin |url=https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/521466-lil-wayne-we-be-steady-mobbin-song |website=HotNewHipHop |access-date=May 15, 2025 |date=December 11, 2009}}
