Stephen Anthony Dean (born 15 May 1964) is a former English cricketer. Dean was a right-handed batsman. He was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Dean made his debut for Hertfordshire in the 1980 Minor Counties Championship against Norfolk and played Minor counties cricket for Hertfordshire from 1983 to 1988, which included 35 Minor Counties Championship matches{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/34/34564/Minor_Counties_Championship_Matches.html|title=Minor Counties Championship Matches played by Stephen Dean|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=6 June 2011}} and 5 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/34/34564/Minor_Counties_Trophy_Matches.html|title=Minor Counties Trophy Matches played by Stephen Dean|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=6 June 2011}} He made his List A debut against Hampshire in the 1983 NatWest Trophy.
