Stephen Sphincter was an early Gwar character,[https://books.google.com/books?id=NWOSy3n80F4C&dq=%22Hans+Orifice%22+gwar&pg=PA26 In my room]; Spin (Nov 2009); p26 played by Ron Curry, who then recorded six albums on SST Records with Hotel X. His on-stage brother was Hans Sphincter, played by drummer Jim Thompson.
