As a player, Galloway played professionally as a forward in England, Scotland and Sweden.
Playing career
Born in Hannover, West Germany, Galloway played in English non-league football at Sutton United, before moving into the Football League with Crystal Palace in 1984.{{cite web|url=http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/crystalpalace/crystalpalace.html|title=CRYSTAL PALACE : 1946/47 - 2007/08|publisher=Post War English & Scottish Football League A - Z Player's Transfer Database}} He spent two seasons with Palace – which included a loan spell at Cambridge United{{cite web|url=http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/cambridge/cambridge.html|title=CAMBRIDGE UNITED : 1970/71 - 2004/05|publisher=Post War English & Scottish Football League A - Z Player's Transfer Database}} – before joining non-league Maidstone United in 1986. Coaching career

After football
Steve filmed two seasons of the hit Swedish show Gladiatorerna as the Timekeeper. Galloway currently lives in Umeå in Sweden, and owns a sport store called Fotbollskliniken{{cite web|url=http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=82&story=1870|title=Where are they now?
