Stephen "Steve" Ouimette (born June 18, 1968) is an American rock guitarist. He is known for performing a cover version of the hit song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" (which was originally by the Charlie Daniels Band) for the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, in which the parts played on the fiddle are instead played on an electric guitar by Ouimette, Ed DeGenaro and Geoff Tyson (though the lyrics remained unchanged). Aside from this track, Ouimette also recorded seven other songs for the game,{{cite web | title = Q&A with Steve Ouimette: The Devil Went Down To Georgia on Guitar Hero 3 | date = October 25, 2007 | url = http://www.steveouimette.com/qa-with-steve-ouimette-the-devil-went-down-to-georgia-on-guitar-hero-3/ | work = steveouimette.com | last = Ouimette | first = Steve | access-date = December 14, 2007 | url-status = dead | archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20080101111303/http://www.steveouimette.com/qa-with-steve-ouimette-the-devil-went-down-to-georgia-on-guitar-hero-3/ | archive-date = January 1, 2008 }} and also made a version of the Christmas carol "We Three Kings" released as downloadable content for Guitar Hero III.{{cite web | url = http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/15306/Guitar-Hero-III-December-Downloads-Revealed/ | title = Guitar Hero III December Downloads Revealed | access-date = December 16, 2007 | last = Berardini | first = César | date = December 10, 2007 | work = TeamXbox.com }}
