Steven's Croft is a wood-fired power station near Lockerbie in Scotland. It started energy production in 2008. It is operated by E.ON and produces 44 MW of electricity, burns 60% waste from timber production, 20% coppiced wood, and 20% recycled fibre.{{cite web |url=http://www.engineering-timelines.com/scripts/engineeringItem.asp?id=990 |title=Steven's Croft Biomass Power Station |website=Engineering Timelines |accessdate=26 March 2017 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20170326225823/http://www.engineering-timelines.com/scripts/engineeringItem.asp?id=990 |archive-date=2017-03-26}} It claims to save 140,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases a year.{{cite web |url=https://www.eonenergy.com/about-eon/our-company/generation/our-current-portfolio/biomass/stevens-croft |title=Steven's Croft Biomass |publisher=E.ON |accessdate=26 March 2017 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20170328135730/https://www.eonenergy.com/About-eon/our-company/generation/our-current-portfolio/biomass/stevens-croft |archive-date=2017-03-28}} It uses 480,000 tonnes of fuel per year to produce 126 MW of thermal energy, and the boiler is optimised to run at 537 °C and {{convert|137|bar|MPa|abbr=off|order=flip}} of pressure. Aqueous wastes are dispersed using a wetland filtering system.{{cite web|url=https://www.mottmac.com/article/2282/stevens-croft-biomass-power-station-uk|title=Steven's Croft Biomass Power Station, UK|publisher=Mott MacDonald|accessdate=30 March 2017}}
