Stigmella orientalis is a moth of the family Nepticulidae. It is only known from Kyushu in Japan.[http://eprints.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2115/9830/1/32_p1-107.pdf Japanese Species Of The Genus Stigmella (Nepticulidae: Lepidoptera)]

The larvae feed on Acer species. They mine the leaves of their host plant.
