Strilecha

Strilecha was founded in 1695 as a frontier settlement of the expanding Tsardom of Russia.

In 2001 the settlement had 2097 inhabitants. Native language as of the Ukrainian Census of 2001:

• Ukrainian – 67.62%
• Russian – 31.64%
• Armenian – 0.18%
• Belarusian – 0.06%
