Located on the Badi Chowdi lane, today the gate is an entrance to the Kabootar Khana and is poorly maintained and is damaged by various structures adjacent to it.{{cite news|url=https://www.newindianexpress.com/cities/hyderabad/2019/Sep/28/in-the-midst-of-hyderabads-history-2040184.html|newspaper=The New Indian Express|title=In the midst of Hyderabad's history|first=Vasanta |last=Sobha|date=2019-09-23|access-date=2024-12-30}}
