Sunshine is the second studio album by American alternative rock band Liquid Gang, and their first to be released on a major label.{{Cite web|url=https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/liquid-gang-to-reunite-for-one-off-hometown-performance/|title=LIQUID GANG To Reunite For One-Off Hometown Performance|date=December 6, 2006|website=BLABBERMOUTH.NET}}
Reception
Rock Hard magazine gave the record a positive review. An 8/12 review came from VISIONS.de, describing parts of the album as strenuous, but overall interesting.
A review from Iowa State Daily was less enthusiastic about Sunshine, describing it as "frivolous" and stating that the band had "sold out from the start".{{Cite web|url=https://iowastatedaily.com/208317/uncategorized/cd-reviews-136/|title=CD Reviews}} Matt Capuano, writing for The Daily Titan, provided a much more positive review, comparing several aspects of the band to that of other nu metal bands such as Korn, Orgy, Deftones and Sevendust.{{Cite web |last=Capuano |first=Matt |date=Sep 21, 2000 |title=Liquid Gang’s blend of metal and techno will get you all wet |url=https://dailytitan.com/app/DTarchive/2000/2000-09-21.pdf |website=Daily Titan}}
A retrospective mention of the album in a 2019 article written by Axl Rosenberg of MetalSucks highlighted the instrumentation but criticised the vocals on the closing song "Blunt Force Trauma": "The riff{{nbsp}}... is sufficiently heavy to make it kind of a bummer when the frontman starts doing a Sonny Sandoval."{{Cite web|url=https://www.metalsucks.net/2019/06/27/liquid-gang-boiler-room-and-full-devil-jacket-who-the-fucking-fuck-are-these-bands/|title=Liquid Gang, Boiler Room, and Full Devil Jacket: Who the Fucking Fuck Are These Bands?|date=June 27, 2019|website=MetalSucks}}
