Supernova Legacy Survey

The Supernova Legacy Survey Program{{Cite web |url=http://cfht.hawaii.edu/SNLS/ |title=SNLS – Supernova Legacy Survey Home Page |access-date=2007-08-23 |archive-date=2007-10-02 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20071002121237/http://cfht.hawaii.edu/SNLS/ |url-status=dead }} is a project designed to investigate dark energy, by detecting and monitoring approximately 2000 high-redshift supernovae between 2003 and 2008, using MegaPrime, a large CCD mosaic at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope. It also carries out detailed spectroscopy of a subsample of distant supernovae.
