Controversy

Transworld Surf reported that one of the judges, Jon Rose, said despite judges voting a girl off, the show's producers reversed their decision in order to keep her in the game.{{cite web|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20030608143529/http://www.transworldsurf.com/surf/features/article/0,15337,449040,00.html|archive-date= June 8, 2003|date=May 12, 2003|url=http://www.transworldsurf.com/surf/features/article/0%2C15337%2C449040%2C00.html|url-status=dead|title=MTV Britney Spears Broisms From TransWorld SURF|access-date=May 25, 2022 }}
