Dame Susan Carol Langley {{Post-nominals|country=GBR|size=100%|sep=,|DBE}} (née Walford, 2 July 1963), is a British businesswoman and civic leader.
Langley has been elected to represent Aldgate Ward on the Court of Aldermen since 2018, being the first female Alderwoman for Aldgate. Langley's business career has been in insurance and financial services. Personal life and education
Susan Carol Walford was born in 1963 at West Ham, then in Essex, the daughter of Shirley (née Manners) and James Walford. Career

Having travelled in Australia after university, Langley joined Thomson Tour Operators as a programme manager and held various roles from1987 to 1996, then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a principal consultant working with a range of FTSE companies (1996–98), before becoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hiscox. With Lloyd's of London from 2007 until 2012, Langley served as Director for North America and Market Development, Director of Lloyd's Asia and Chairman of Lloyd's Japan, before joining the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Financial and Professional Services from 2013 to 2015.[https://www.gov.uk/government/news/sue-langley-to-lead-the-financial-services-investment-organisation www.gov.uk]
