Suslin algebra

In mathematics, a Suslin algebra is a Boolean algebra that is complete, atomless, countably distributive, and satisfies the countable chain condition. They are named after Mikhail Yakovlevich Suslin.{{Cite book|last=Jech|first=Thomas|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=GHjmCAAAQBAJ&dq=Suslin+algebra&pg=PA274|title=Set Theory|date=2013-06-29|publisher=Springer Science & Business Media|isbn=978-3-662-22400-7|language=en}}

The existence of Suslin algebras is independent of the axioms of ZFC, and is equivalent to the existence of Suslin trees or Suslin lines.{{Cite web|title=The mathematics of Andrei Suslin|url=https://www.ams.org/journals/bull/2020-57-01/S0273-0979-2019-01680-2/viewer/|access-date=2021-08-08|website=www.ams.org|date=6 July 2019 |language=en}}
