Swingin' Time was a music variety show, similar to American Bandstand, hosted by WKNR (Keener 13, Detroit) personality Robin Seymour and also, for a time, CKLW radio's Tom Shannon.{{Cite book |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=-SgEAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA34 |title=Billboard |date=1966-10-22 |publisher=Nielsen Business Media, Inc. |language=en}} This show was broadcast on CKLW-TV Channel 9 (now CBET-DT) out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, from 1965 to 1968, and also seen in a few other markets in syndication. The show featured recording acts, both nationally and locally popular, lip-synching to their latest releases while teenagers showcased the latest dances on the show's dance floor. In its brief run, the show featured well-known Motown acts like The Supremes, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Marvin Gaye, The Marvelettes, Martha & The Vandellas and The Four Tops, and non-Motown acts such as Bob Seger.{{Cite book|last1=Seymour|first1=Robin|title=THE DJ THAT LAUNCHED1000 HITS|last2=Rosenthal|first2=Carolyn|year=2019|publisher=Independently Published |isbn=9781792059100|language=English}}{{Cite book|last1=Miller|first1=Billy|title=Mind over Matter|last2=Hurtt|first2=Michael|year=2020|isbn=9781940157146|pages=445–455}}{{Cite web |last=Muskovitz |first=Alan |title=Robin Seymour: A Radio Legend — Detroit Jewish News |url=https://thejewishnews.com/2019/09/16/robin-seymour-radio-legend/ |access-date=2022-03-08 |website= |date=16 September 2019 |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |last=Hicks |first=Mark |title=Robin Seymour, iconic radio DJ, TV host, dies at 94 |url=https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/michigan/2020/04/17/iconic-radio-dj-tv-host-robin-seymour-dies-94/5158326002/ |access-date=2022-03-08 |website=The Detroit News |language=en-US}}
