Swinton is a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Population

The parish had 467 residents at the 2001 census,{{NOMIS2001|id=1543510588|title=Swinton Parish|accessdate=15 January 2019}} which had risen to 608 by the time of the 2011 census. The village was part of the Ryedale district between 1974 and 2023. It is now administered by North Yorkshire Council.
