In popular culture
A sake brand, Nanakanba (七冠馬), is sold by Hikami Sake Brewery in honor of the horse. The Tamura family, who owns the brewery, is related to the Wada family, who owned the Symboli Ranch.
An anthomorphized version of the horse appears in Uma Musume Pretty Derby.{{Cite web |title=シンボリルドルフ |url=https://umamusume.jp/character/detail |access-date=2024-02-12 |website=ウマ娘 プリティーダービー 公式ポータルサイト |publisher=Cygames |language=ja}}{{Cite web |last=Sherman |first=Jennifer |date=2017-07-01 |title=Uma Musume Pretty Derby Project's Anime, Game Promo Videos Streamed |url=https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-01/uma-musume-pretty-derby-project-anime-game-promo-videos-streamed/.118279 |access-date=2024-02-12 |website=Anime News Network |language=en |quote=The cast of Uma Musume (Horse Girls) includes ...
