After each season, the two top clubs are promoted to the Premier League. In the 2023–24 season, Al-Shouleh and Al-Shorta SC won the title and were promoted to Premier League.

In 2023–24 season, the league consists of 27 clubs divided into a league based on their geographical distribution.
