Türkmenbaşy District ({{langx|tk|Türkmenbaşy etraby}}) is a district in Balkan Province, Turkmenistan. Its name is derived from the title "Türkmenbaşy" (head Turkmen) former President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov created for himself.
