History

Tōbu-kanasaki Station opened on 1 April 1929.{{cite book | last = Terada | first = Hirokazu |title = データブック日本の私鉄 |trans-title=Databook: Japan's Private Railways | publisher = Neko Publishing | date = 19 January 2013 | location = Japan | page = 223| isbn = 978-4-7770-1336-4}} It became unstaffed from 8 March 1972. The platform was lengthened in 2006.
