TIV MPI Adventure is a {{GT|14,739}} wind turbine installation vessel that was built in 2010 by Cosco Nantong Shipyard, China.

Description

MPI Adventure is {{convert|138.55|m|ftin}} long, with a beam of {{convert|40.80|m|ftin}}. She has a draught of between {{convert|3.5|m|ftin}} and {{convert|5.5|m|ftin}}, with a depth of {{convert|10.00|m|ftin}}. She has three bow thrusters. These are powered by six 3,625bhp Rolls-Royce Bergen C25:33L-8 diesel engines.

MPI Adventure has accommodation for 112 crew, with a maximum of 200 people able to be accommodated on board. Equipment installed includes a crane which has a capacity of {{convert|1000|t|LT}} at {{convert|25|m|ft}} radius. An auxiliary crane has a capacity of {{convert|160|t|LT}} at {{convert|70|m|ft}} radius and a third crane has a capacity of {{convert|50|t|LT}} at {{convert|25|m|ft}} radius. The ship is fitted with six {{convert|73.00|m|ftin}} jacking legs. She can jack up in waves {{convert|3.5|m|ft}} high and at windspeeds of up to {{convert|14|m/s|kn}} with a maximum current of {{convert|1.86|m/s|kn}}. Once jacked up, the ship can operate in waves of {{convert|10.00|m|ftin}} high, windspeeds up to {{convert|36|m/s|kn}} and currents of {{convert|2.21|m/s|kn}}. She can operate in water up to {{convert|40|m|ft}} deep, with the legs sinking into the seabed by {{convert|5|m|ft}} and the ship raised {{convert|7.80|m|ftin}} above the surface of the sea.
