Accidents and incidents
- On 6 June 2018 the Tapandegan (Palpitaters in Persian), an Iranian hacker group, hacked the arrival and departure monitors at Tabriz International Airport, and defaced signboards in the evening, showing a protest message against “wasting Iranians’ resources" and expressing support for Iranian truckers who had been on strike across Iran for several weeks.{{cite news | title =Hackers briefly shut off airport monitors in Iran’s Tabriz | publisher =seattletimes.com| date =7 June 2018 | url =https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/hackers-briefly-shut-off-airport-monitors-in-irans-tabriz/ | access-date =29 June 2018}}{{cite news | title =Hackers briefly shut off airport monitors in Iran's Tabriz | publisher =Fox News| date =7 June 2018 | url =https://www.foxnews.com/world/hackers-briefly-shut-off-airport-monitors-in-irans-tabriz | access-date =29 June 2018}}
