Lucas Supersprint

The Sandown Raceway (Sandown Park is a horse track in England) round at season's end was officially called the Lucas Supersprint. If there are no objections I'll change this. There is a picture of the cover of the program [http://www.autopics.com.au/cache/list-338public__0-0.html?cache=no here]. --Falcadore (talk) 02:55, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

– As they were called that time per scanned sources in [https://www.racingsportscars.com/championship/World%20Championship.html?page=4 RSC] during that time. Makes no sense in using the name that had not been used since 1961. SpacedFarmer (talk) 10:35, 29 February 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 17:31, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

  • Oppose – "World Sportscar Championship" appears to be the WP:COMMONNAME based on a Google search, and I think it would also be better to keep a consistent name to improve recognisability. Carfan568 (talk) 19:32, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
