Pole 2019 Mexican Grand Prix Results and Standings

A note is important for Charles Leclerc like this:

"Max Verstappen recorded the fastest time in qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix, but started fourth after a three-place grid penalty for did not respect a yellow flag in qualifying due to Valtteri Bottas's crash. Charles Leclerc was recognised as the pole-sitter for the race."

Copyed from 2012 season on Webber's pole, who was recognised the pole sitter at the 2012 Monaco GP.--79.43.102.62 (talk) 01:15, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

:::To be fixed once again, according of what the source shows. "Max Verstappen qualified on pole, but received a three-place grid penalty for failing to slow for a yellow flag. Charles Leclerc was promoted to pole position in his place." Thanks again.--79.43.102.62 (talk) 16:50, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

{{od|:::}}

Related to this topic: the section "World Drivers' Championship standings" states Verstappen was on pole by marking his result (6th place) with bold type (according to the key), but in fact Leclerc started from the 1st position after Verstappen's 3 grid penalty. Question: in these cases (where the driver who actually qualified on pole is penalized afterwards), who do we mark in bold? The one who achieved the pole (Verstappen in this case), or the one who 'inherited' it and actually started first (Leclerc in this case)? Thanks in advance and regards from huwiki! --XXLVenom999 (talk) 22:13, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

:{{u|XXLVenom999}}, Leclerc. Pole refers to whom started first, not qualified first
SSSB (talk) 22:31, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

:I've now corrected the tables to reflect that Leclerc got pole.
SSSB (talk) 22:35, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

::{{u|SSSB}} Thanks for your help. I was kinda certain about it before but the table made me confused. Thanks for making it clear, and for the correction as well. --XXLVenom999 (talk) 22:37, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

Championship Standings Table Format?

Why is there a different format applied to this page/season than others? It looks cluttered (and generally bad). The last discussion of this topic that I can find is at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Formula_One/Archive_52#Fastest_Lap_Indicator_(and_Table_Key) , and it seems there was no consensus reached on the matter. Is there ongoing discussion of this matter anywhere? Mmch9 (talk) 09:40, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

:{{re|Mmch9}} my interpretation was that there was a consensus for this change. There is not an ongoing discussion but it was most recently mentioned at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Formula One/Archive 52#Pole position%2FFastet lap mess. If you have a better way to display this which doesn't compromise accessibility (which bold and italics did) then I would be interested to hear it (preferable at the centrelised afore mentioned discussion. Thanks,
