So what's the function of acetylation of N- terminus ???

[[Deacetylation]]

The article mentions Deacetylation a few times, but does not go into it at all. Should a separate article be made?? -- Guitarmankev1(TALK) 02:48, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

"Acetylation of wood" section looks like marketing copy

This section cites no sources and reads suspiciously similar to the Accoya (mentioned in the section) manufacturer's web site. But I think it can be fixed by an intrepid editor. A web search on "accoya review" yielded quite a lot of information and positive reviews.Star-lists (talk) 23:54, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Split proposal

Acetylation is a major topic in classical organic chemistry. It probably should be discussed separately from the protein business, which is apparently a large topic but one with a focus pretty distinct from the organic view.--Smokefoot (talk) 22:18, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
