I had assumed that Charles Black (the "C" in A & C Black Publishers) was a brother, but perhaps he was a father, son, or cousin? Your article does not mention his partner, whatever the relationship. Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 18:19, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

:its really interesting to read about this na , who, is, my great great great great grandfather from my father's fathers side, the other side of the family are decended from highlands of Scotland. The article currently says that Adam Black was twice Lord Provost of Edinburgh, but he appears only once on wikipedia's list of Lord Provosts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Provosts_of_Edinburgh#19th_century
