Proposed merge with [[Gham e Duniya]]

WP:NSONG: "articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album" Jackmcbarn (talk) 17:53, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

:That's because his article is a lot bigger than a stub. (Note: This was in reply to [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Adithya_Srinivasan&diff=588768859&oldid=588093282 this post removed by its author]) Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:58, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

Artist Discographies grow over time & each song/album released has a good amount of significance. Today it might be a single track but soon more tracks would be released with pages for each, it would not be correct to merge each page then. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.178.201.161 (talk) 06:32, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

:That's not a discography page. That's a page about just the one track. Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:52, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Then why not merge In My City with Priyanka Chopra? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.178.201.161 (talk) 08:23, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

:That's a much bigger article. Gham e Duniya will never grow that big. Also, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:30, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

Songs do not cease to exist after their release. More and more press articles, citations & awards come with time and Wikipedia allows articles to grow only with sufficient references for each, thus page must remain! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.178.201.161 (talk) 16:23, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

:It's unlikely that will happen. If it ever does, the page can be re-split. Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:55, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

We are nobody to judge what is likely and what is not, the only thing certain about life is death! Merging & again re-splitting the pages is a futile effort and can be left as it is since no harm is being caused by any means! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.178.201.161 (talk) 15:59, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

So what is the decision of this suggestion? Merge or Separate? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.167.204.75 (talk) 16:43, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

:Since you and I are the only ones to have commented on it, there's no decision yet. Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:54, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
