In the battle against Celestin, each of the Goddesses separates from her angel so they can fight individual battles. In latter manga chapters, Fujishima shows this to be impossible, with a Goddess separated from her angel falling unconscious.

The current meandering plot description is a good example of what Wikipedia is NOT: an in-universe, almost word for word description of the plot of the film, and is liable to be deleted at anytime. "The movie takes place years after the events of the manga and anime."

Is there really any reason to suppose this? The situation has hardly changed. Keiichi is still at Nekomi Tech, the minor characters are the same, Belldandy's sisters are still hanging around. The impression is that very little time has passed since the end of the animé, and that we are looking at basically the same setting.
