The short name in motorsport venue templates

In all of the motorsport venue templates, the circuit short name is seen as Algarve; but the circuit is mostly referred as Portimão due to its city. So, I suggest using short name of Portimão instead of Algarve in all of the motorsport venue templates. Apeiro94 (talk) 22:33, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

:I oppose such a change. Having the name in the templates not match the article title is simply confusing. (Imagine clicking "Portimão" and being taken to an article which doesn't contain Portimão in the title. I would only support such a change if the article is moved to "Portimão Circuit", which shouldn't be too hard if, as you claim, it's the WP:COMMONNAME (I'm not commenting on that claim now). ::{{U|SSSB}} - I think you intended to write {{tq|(Imagine [clicking "Portimão"...]}} just above; I'm unsure that OP is a first English speaker. I briefly knew a Portuguese lady who regularly used the word imagine in conversation and it sounded to me as Imogen {{smiley}}.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 14:25, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

:::{{re|Rocknrollmancer}} thanks. I've corrected it. Looks like a typo compounded by my phone's auto-correct. SSSB (talk) 14:50, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
