:Allan government → {{no redirect|Premiership of Jacinta Allan}} – Requesting that this page be moved to the aforementioned name. There was a previous discussion which can be found here regarding moving the Premiership pages of David Crisafulli and Chief ministership of Lia Finocchiaro to (insert name) government pages, which subsequently failed. Moving this page would bring it in alignment with the above Crisafulli and Finocchiaro pages as well as Premiership of Jeremy Rockliff using the (insert title)ship of (insert name) formula. It would also match other foreign pages (for example, see Chief ministership of Narendra Modi). It also removes the confusion of some assuming that it maybe be a federal government when the page naming is in alignment with Morrison government and Albanese government etc. DeadlyRampage26 (Chat) 10:47, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
:Support for consistency with the other articles. I also think the proposed title more accurately reflects what the article is about. – numbermaniac 07:12, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
::{{Ping|numbermaniac}} this proposed move actually breaks consistency with other articles. Steelkamp (talk) 10:39, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

- Support per numbermaniac. TarnishedPathtalk 09:02, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. Moving this to Premiership of Jacinta Allan would prohibit writing about anything the Allan government does that does not directly involve Jacinta Allan herself. If this move were to go ahead, then anything on this page not relating to Jacinta Allan herself would have to be removed, and then this page would have to be merged with Jacinta Allan due to that page not being long enough for a split based on size. Moving this page would also break consistency with Rann government and all the federal governments listed at Template:Governments of Australia. All the above examples given by the nominator were created by the nominator themselves and should instead either be merged into their parent article or moved to be consistent with this and the related articles I have mentioned. Steelkamp (talk) 10:36, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- :Add Berejiklian ministry to that. Will Thorpe (talk) 12:42, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose - agree with Steelkamp. Any specific matters relating to Jacinta Allan and her leadership of the party can be under her article. The matters in this article (Allan government) relate more to the overall government rather than her decisions and/or specifically her premiership. Marcnut1996 (talk) 10:47, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
:Oppose – in the Westminster system, a government is not merely defined by the leader. The premiership is only one aspect; there are also the various ministers. Will Thorpe (talk) 12:41, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Naming inconsistency
So the proposal to move Premiership of David Crisafulli to "Crisafulli government" failed, but the proposal to move Allan government to "Premiership of Jacinta Allan" also failed. Seems like we're now left with an inconsistent naming system that needs resolving. – numbermaniac 15:00, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
:Different topics (one is about the overall government, one is about the specific leader) means different article names. Common sense. Marcnut1996 (talk) 09:32, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
:{{ping|numbermaniac}}, given the absensce of Crisafulli government article, perhaps you could expand the Premiership of David Crisafulli and talk about what his government is doing or plans to do, and this would include any policy announcements by his ministers (as opposed to just what Crisafulli had said or announced). That way, the article would have a better chance to be renamed to "Crisafulli government". Marcnut1996 (talk) 09:35, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
