– There are 25 entries listed upon the Anaya (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the two-sentence stub delineating the Spanish municipality (population 136) is primary over the combined notability of the remaining 24 entries. The form "Anaya, Segovia" is based upon entries under :Category:Municipalities in the Province of Segovia. — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 16:53, 18 June 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Comment WP:PLACEDAB asks us to use placename, nation, and there is no specific exception for Spain. Unless there is a local consensus that I am unaware of, the correct title would be Anaya, Spain. 162 etc. (talk) 18:15, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
::While there are such entries as Carabias, Segovia, Casla, Segovia, Coca, Segovia, Domingo García, Segovia, Gallegos, Segovia, Pedraza, Segovia or Sepúlveda, Segovia under :Category:Municipalities in the Province of Segovia, not a single entry there uses the form "Municipality, Spain". However, entries under :Category:Municipalities of Spain by province, have an inconsistent mix of "Municipality, Province" and "Municipality, Spain". Most likely, if a municipality has a name shared by other Spanish municipalities, it takes the province name and if it shares a name with other entities, it takes the name "Municipality, Spain". Perhaps a query at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spain might help but, in any event, I would not oppose any consensus preference in this matter. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:16, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- move as proposed Town/city/village articles are normally of the form "place, state/province/whatever" and I see no reason for an exception here. Mangoe (talk) 18:45, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- :That's not true - WP:PLACEDAB asks us to use Placename, Nation. There are exceptions - United States, Canada, Mexico, England, among others - but Spain is not one of them. I've left a note at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spain to ask for clarification, as a lot of Spain articles appear to be incorrectly titled. 162 etc. (talk) 19:56, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
