@WeaponizingArchitecture, Thanks for your reply on the Commons talk page . Upon re-examining the citation for the language census data, the census website provided information at district sub category (mandal) level. As the districts were reorganised in 2022, few wikipedians derived the language statistics for the new districts and used the same on district pages. I found those also edited multiple times. For example for Konaseema district, the number was 99.66, 99.11, 99.41 at different stages of the article by three different editors. I think the graphic derived from such data is not reliable to be used in a state article and is also too much of a detail. I would like to remove the graphic from this page and add it to Demographics of Andhra Pradesh article. Let me know if you have any objections. Arjunaraoc (talk) 01:39, 23 March 2025 (UTC)

:listen man you're free to make a new map. just copy the old districts, delete everything except the districts, and set the stroke path to the color white and 1 point stroke. Then check the article for the color codes - follow them, if you want I can put my data color codes I use for India on Commons. Andhra Pradesh is home to many magnificent and culturally significant places such as Sriharikota, Gandikota, Araku Valley, and many others. Including images of these landmarks in the infobox or article would not only showcase the beauty and diversity of our state but also instill a sense of pride among its citizens. It would help improve exposure and appreciation of Andhra Pradesh on a global platform. I propose we consider updating the photomontage or adding representative images where appropriate. While checking different Indian state Wikipedia pages, I saw that most states have 6 to 9 images in their infobox. But Andhra Pradesh has only 3, which seems too few, especially for a state with so much history, culture, and beautiful places.

:@Arjunaraoc, The current format has been in place since it was updated by you earlier, and the one I came up with it adheres to the manual style guidelines for infoboxes. There is no set default duration of time for a period of discussion when the format already aligns with the prescribed standards. If any changes are proposed to this format, they should be preceded by discussion. You're always welcome to share your opinions, comments or suggestions so we can reach a mutual understanding and resolve the issue collaboratively.
