New topic at [[History of antisemitism]]
I initiated a new talk discussion proposing that History of antisemitism stop its coverage at the end of the 20th century. Right now, its coverage of the 21st century is weak. For more recent history, readers should just come here instead. Please share your thoughts at Talk:History_of_antisemitism#Cease_coverage_at_the_end_of_the_20th_century?
Oh, and just as an aside, if you ever want to trim the body word-count, don't forget about the existence of this WP:SPINOFF. You could really cut a lot out of that section to focus on just the most important events.

:@Patrick Welsh I wanted to discuss a very nuanced and probably overlooked. not overlook not intentionally done and not hateful but still offensive. and that is when we identify Jewish mathematicians or scientists by the country of their birth instead of calling them Jewish mathematician or scientist. example, Gregory perlman was only one of two Jews allowed in his university, but when he solved the millennium puzzle he was considered Russian. that's incredibly offensive. you're only Russian when you make the Russian people proud but otherwise you're dirty Jew. I think. every scientist from Europe mathematician logician anyone who contributed to European society that was Jewish should be identified as Jew from blank country. they can't only claim us when we do do them proud 2603:8001:A100:AFE9:AFEC:3BB2:FDF3:F8CA (talk) 17:20, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

Soviet Antisemitism subheader really needs to be rewritten
It's based on a single, clearly polemical work and full of unspecified claims and assertions. It posits that antisemitism was a directed Soviet policy by citing numerous antisemitic incidents (which unfortunately never stopped post WW2 and could be find in any european country) and presenting them as state policy without providing alternative explanations. It also erroneously claims that antizionism was simply an "antisemitic canard" to disguise hatred for Jews which is another discutable claim and based on a single polemical work. It completely detaches Soviet policy from the Cold War and support for anticolonial causes in general. IMO this entire section needs to be rewritten to include other literature and stripped of pointed polemical language, this perspective can be pointed out but needs to be presented as a perspective and not as fact.
Antisemitism as Racism is not a debate.
I’ve seen this page changed from declaring antisemitism as being a former racism to being downgraded as being to “depends on the school of thought” that must mean that all for racism towards different groups of people is up for debate yes? of course not, it’s an attempt to downplay the scorn Jews have faced up to this day to please certain bad actors. :@B ThatNerdyGuy, this is a reflection of scholarship on the nature of antisemitism. There is indeed discussion and controversy over terming antisemitism as a form of racism among experts, and Wikipedia should not conceal that. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 03:04, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
::In most context, antisemitism is mostly a racially charged form of hate. There is no doubt that there is religious aspect to antisemitism, I will not debate that. Please forgive me for my ignorance. B ThatNerdyGuy (talk) 03:20, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
