In the interest of not participating in the edit war, @Gaslasy eelipwze, can you please explain why MOS:TVPLOT doesn't apply here and that the plot "synopsis" should be over 2,000 words?

Dimple and Tapish, a famous dancer, secretly love each other for five years. Anupamaa leaves for the US and faces challenges. She meets Anuj and Aadhya, but Aadhya hates her. All three return to India for Dimple and Tapish's marriage. Anuj breaks up with Shruti after she plots against Anupamaa. Tapish reveals his traumatic childhood where his mother accidentally killed his abusive father in an attempt to save him and later surrendered herself and went to jail. Dimple and Tapish marry, and the family reunites. Paritosh and Pakhi have become greedy for money due to Vanraj earnings. Feeling disheartened in their own home, Hasmukh and Leela shift to an old-age home. Anupamaa and Anuj finally unite, but Aadhya, still blaming Anupamaa for her traumatic past, leaves for a hostel. Anuj and Anupamaa individually get into an accident.

6 months later, Anupamaa now lives in a shelter home called Asha Bhavan along with Hasmukh and other residents, including a divorced woman named Nandita with her newborn daughter Asha, two elderly Bala and Indira, and an orphan law student Sagar, who part-time drives an autorickshaw to fund his studies and Asha Bhavan. Neighboring the old age home is the Shah house, after Vanraj sold off the old one. Kavya has become an international model, leaving Mahi at the Shahs'. Vanraj has now turned soft towards Mahi but has become richer and arrogant, spoiling the children, especially Ansh. Pakhi and Paritosh have become greedier, while Kinjal serves the family. Dimple has also changed and become greedy, neglecting Ansh and constantly arguing with Tapish.

Anupamaa still yearns for Anuj, while Anuj has lost his mental balance after losing his memory. Anuj is now referred to as "Kanha" by neighboring temple saints. Soon, Anupamaa finds Anuj and brings him to Asha Bhavan and learns that, after the accident, Ankush and Barkha told Anuj that Aadhya is dead and tricked him into signing his property over to their name, ultimately leading to his present condition. Vanraj's niece, Meenakshi, returns from Russia after completing MBBS, and she and Sagar become attracted to each other. Anupamaa vows to find Aadhya, who was adopted by a rich couple, Viren and Megha, after their daughter Priya's death, who resembles Aadhya. Aadhya's adoptive mother has become crazy after Priya's death and tortures Aadhya due to her overprotective nature. Aadhya repents for her ill behavior towards Anupamaa and yearns for Anupamaa and Anuj. Later, Anupamaa starts a cooking business, and Anuj drives an autorickshaw to help Sagar fund Asha Bhavan and his studies.

Anupamaa finds Aadhya, and on Janmashtami, Anupamaa rescues Aadhya from Megha's clutches and takes her to Anuj. Anuj and Aadhya have an emotional reunion, but Megha arrives there and stabs Anupamaa. After recovering, Anupamaa gives a reality check to Megha. At the same time, Vanraj flees after committing fraud. Kavya abandons Mahi, and Anupamaa adopts the latter. Later, the Shahs are forced to vacate the Shah house and relocate to Asha Bhavan. Tensions arise as the Shahs struggle to stay with Asha Bhavan residents after leaving their lavish lifestyle. Meanwhile, Meenakshi and Sagar marry by running away. Enraged by their action, Dolly curses Anupamaa and tells her she will never get love from Aadhya. At the same time, Dimple turns insecure seeing Ansh's growing fondness with Aadhya, and Dolly takes it as an opportunity to fuel it more after Tapish shifts to Mumbai.

Anuj and Anupamaa decide to get married again; however, Anuj boards to Himachal for a business meeting right before the wedding. During preparations, a scuffle occurs between Aadhya and Dimple for Ansh, leading to Asha Bhavan catching fire, and Dimple dies after suffering severe burns. Although Aadhya tries to save Dimple, she gets blamed for her death by Dolly and the rest of the Shahs. Aadhya runs away from Ahmedabad fearing that Anupamaa will send her to the police after believing Dolly though Aarya being a witness to the accident describes the whole incident and exposes Dolly's lies, Kinjal decides to divorce Paritosh and live with Rakhi after gaining Aarya's custody and Meenakshi breaks ties with Dolly and she, Sagar and the rest of the Asha Bhavan members leave Asha Bhavan. On the other hand, Ankush, who is greedy over his power over the Kapadia Empire, reaches Himachal and attempts to kill Anuj by hitting him with a rock and throwing him off the cliff.

Anupamaa and the entire Shah family move back to the Shah House, which Anupamaa retained after a hard-fought battle with the builder. She now runs a food business, Anu Ki Rasoi, with the help of several other housewives as her helpers. However, the business is struggling, and she seeks help from investors to keep it afloat. Aadhya lives in an orphanage under the pseudonym "Rahi" and works as a tourist guide in Dwarka while struggling hard to earn money to serve other kids in the orphanage.

Back in the Shah house, Kinjal, who never divorced Paritosh as he threatened to take away Aarya's sole custody in case of divorce, has become bitter like her mother due to the same. She often body-shames Aarya due to her weight, instilling an inferiority complex in her. Kinjal's insecurities grow regarding Aarya's future despite her being a fashion designer, as she watches Pakhi groom Ishani into a successful model. At the same time, Dolly too lives in fear of being punished for her deeds done with Aadhya & wishes that the latter never arrives back.

Ansh, passionate about football, works as a video game developer. He serves as a constant pillar of support for Anupamaa, much like his father, Samar, in the past. Meanwhile, Anupamaa shares a deep bond with Mahi, considering her like her daughter, and the feeling is mutual just like Anupamaa is an expert at culinary skills. Despite her strong connections, Anupamaa continues to miss Anuj and Aadhya deeply. Prem, a play actor, and Anupamaa's well-wisher visit Dwarka and unknowingly meet Aadhya when the latter saves him from drowning. Anupamaa too arrives there with Ansh to offer blessings to Lord Krishna in the hope of finding Aadhya.

With the help of Prem, Anupamaa reunites with Aadhya, who still hates her. Aadhya agrees to go back with Anupamaa under the condition that Anupamaa pays off the orphanage's debt. Anupamaa spends her life saving of 10 lakhs to save the orphanage and brings back Aadhya to Shah house. Ansh, Mahi, and Aarya are happy to have Aadhya back, but the other family members, especially Dolly, don't want her there.

Aadhya decides to irritate the Shah family so Anupamaa will drop her back at Dwarka. However, Anupamaa stands up for Aadhya and shuts everyone down. Soon Anupamaa gets a years-old letter from Anuj indicating his presumed death while Prem starts living as a tenant in Shah house sharing a room with Ansh thus resulting in their constant altercations and the former starts working as a chef in "Anu Ki Rasoi". While Mahi gets infatuated with Prem the latter gets infatuated with Aadhya, creating a love triangle. Aadhya's growing fondness with Ansh starts making Mahi insecure while the former decides to return to Dwarka after paying off Anupamaa's debt. Soon Kinjal turns back to her original kind-woman self after realising her mistreatment with her daughter, while Aadhya realizes her mistakes and reunites with Anupamaa, and latter learns about Mahi's love from Prem while Aadhya too realises her feelings for him. Anupamaa decides to get Mahi married to Prem but on the engagement day, Prem confesses that he loves Aadhya. Anupamaa agrees to get Aadhya and Prem married while Mahi gets infuriated and decides to steal Prem from Aadhya.

Later on, Anupamaa meets Khyati Kothari, who wants to meet his son. She gets a catering contract and enters the Kothari house, where she meets the remaining family members and her husband Parag Kothari, the business tycoon and He doesnt like Anupamaa and her family due to their lower class. Anupamaa gets shocked to know from him that Prem is his son. Prem hates Parag and his step-mother, Khyati, as he believes that they were the cause of his mother, Gayatri's death. On hearing this, Anupamaa throws Prem out of the house and Aadhya breaks up with him. At first, the Kotharis were against Prem and Aadhya's marriage, especially Prem's grandmother, Vasundhara, who wanted a homely daughter-in-law, but later on accepted their alliance. Later on, Anupamaa and Aadhya both forgives Prem and accepts him. During the marriage rituals, the Kotharis got to know that Aadhya was adopted by Anupamaa and was bar dancer Maya's daughter, due to which they called off the marriage, but later on accepted it. Anupamaa gets to know that Mahi secretly loves Prem and warns her to stay away from Aadhya and Prem. During the marriage rituals, Anupamaa discovers that Prarthana's husband, Gautam physically assaults her and slaps him. The Kotharis tell Anupamaa to say sorry to Gautam, or else the Wedding would be called off. Prem and Aadhya get married and go to the Kothari house.

The next day, Anupamaa goes to the Central Jail to teach dance to the prisoners for an event. She meets a short-tempered prisoner, Raghav, who was falsely accused of killing his wife and becomes friends with him. Aadhya wishes to complete her studies and fills a college admission form. Aadhya's admission gets approved, but Vasundhara burns her admission letter without her knowledge. During Holi, Prem and Aadhya find out about Vasundhara's deeds and leave the Kothari house and stay in a rented house. Pakhi plans to get Ishaani married to Prem's cousin, Raja and continuously tells her to hang out with him. Ishaani doesnt listen to Pakhi and then falls prey to drugs and illegal stuff. One day, Aadhya gets attacked in the rented house and gets admitted into a hospital. Aadhya recovers and she and Prem moves back to the Kothari House. Prem meets a stranger named Mohit and brings him to the Kothari House. Mohit hates his mother as he was thrown out when he was born and came with a plan to find his mother. Raghav gets released and meets his mother again. Raghav is outcasted from the society as they believes that he killed his wife, Pankhudi. Mohit is revealed to be as Khyati and Parag's long lost son whom Khyati gave away after he was born. The Kotharis disown Khyati and she lives with Anupamaa. Khyati tries to commit suicide but later on Parag accepts Khyati and Mohit, who is now renamed as Aryan. Vasundhara and Parag sees Raghav and gets scared as they have a huge secret with him. Aadhya and Anupamaa realize that Raghav had attacked Aadhya and Anupamaa tells him to leave. Aadhya gets angry with Anupamaa that she shouldnt have believed Raghav.

Raghav kidnaps Anupamaa and tells her the entire truth. His wife, Pankhudi was Vasundhara Kothari's daughter and the Kotharis, especially Vasundhara and Parag, was behind Raghav's imprisonment. Anupamaa gets shocked to learn that and decides to find the truth. Ishaani gets caught with drugs and cigarettes and blames Pakhi for her current state. Anupamaa catches Ishaani buying drugs from some men and tortures Ishaani. Anupamaa and Raghav both save Ishaani and bring her back. Mahi meets Aryan and makes a plan of falling in love with him to get closer to Prem. Anupamaa sees a photo in which Raghav's wife, Pankhudi was there and confronts the Kotharis. Aadhya tells Anupamaa to stop supporting Raghav and has to choose between her and Raghav. Anupamaa opens Raghav's case again. Parag's brother, Anil tells Anupamaa that Pankhudi is alive and it was Parag and Vasundhara's plan to imprison Raghav. Kinjal gets caught stealing money by Gautam and gets arrested. Gautam gives a condition that Kinjal can be released only if Anupamaa doesnt support Raghav. Anupamaa refuses to agree and they take Kinjal away. Anupamaa is berated by the entire family and becomes alone. Later, Rahi decides to apologises to Anupamaa but she is insulted by everyone. Anupama decides to leave shah house. She leaves shah house and embarks on a new adventure.

Anupamaa leaves everyone and everyone finds her. The posters of Missing Anupamaa were were putted on walls of Ahmedabad. Rahi and the Kothari family were shocked by learning Anupamaa is missing. Later,everyone apologises to raghav. Kinjal is released from jail and also got shocked by learning Anupamaa is missing. Later, Raghav decides tk find Anupama. While, Rahi regrets her actions and wants to apologises to Anupamaa. She learns the real dark truth of the Kothari family and severe ties with them. Everyone and Raghav didn't find Anupamaa.

Rahi divorced Prem after learning the truth of the Kothari Family. Prem blames his family for Him and Rahi's seperation. Later, a accident causes Aryan death. The Kothari family and Rahi break down on Aryan's death. Mahi's plan got foiled as she was using Aryan to return to Prem. While. The shah family are sad about Anupamaa's departure. They all hope to Lord Krishna for return of Anupama. While, Anupama is revealed to be in old age home. She stays in old age home as she had destroyed all relations. Rahi misses Anupama and Anupamaa misses Rahi and Anuj.
