Hello, I work for Apollo, and would like to suggest an update for accuracy. Please amend the first sentence to clarify that Apollo is an alternative asset management firm, not a private equity firm. The firm self-labels as "alternative asset management", and I'm seeing some descriptions of Apollo as being a private markets firm (for example, [https://www.wsj.com/articles/apollo-backs-firm-that-supports-emerging-fund-managers-296db3d2 here]). ::Apollo Global Management is an alternative asset management firm, and one of the strategies we employ is private equity. Our [https://www.apollo.com/strategies website] explains this pretty well. Asset management is the umbrella term for what Apollo does, and private equity, credit, and real assets all fall under the umbrella of asset management. So the correct descriptor for what we do is alternative asset management.
