Quoting Quantockgoblin's
:: I think the svg image is better - however, someone out there feels that "the molecular geometry of the right structures is wrong, it should be tetrahedral" (see note on image). 'Wrong' is putting it a bit strong, and it is not clear if they are referring to the N atom or the E atom or both. I suspect both. They do seem to have a point, but I don't think it matters too much! Maybe this image can be drawn with the orbitals on N shown? I'm not an expert on atranes but is the point that the N lone pair moves from within the 'cage' to a flat structure (p-type orbital) to a lone pair pointing out of the cage, a sort of in/out isomerisation? -- Quantockgoblin (talk) 01:00, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
::: I've added the .svg image and .png iamge for comparison - and I can see more clearly now that the .png image is better i.e. atom E becomes tetrahedral left to right -- Quantockgoblin (talk) 01:21, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
