"Somalia creates new state, Azania, latest of at least 10 new administrations recently added
By Malkhadir M. Muhumed, The Associated Press – 1 hour ago
NAIROBI, Kenya — Somali politicians on Sunday announced the creation of a new state in the battle-scarred nation, a move condemned by Somalia's fragile government, which said it could further fracture the already chaotic Horn of Africa country."

Why the need to downplay Bantu indigeneity to the East African Coast?
Why is there a heavy need to discredit Bantu indigeneity on the East African coast, thus the insistence of a mythical South Cushitic occupation of the entire coast? For example, Mombasa, a pre eminent Swahili city state is Bantu in origin and founded by a Bantu Queen named Mwana Mkisi. As well, the Shungwaya incident shows the displacement of Bantu groups by Cushites. Displacement here indicates priorBantu settlement that predated Cushites. Also of note is how even the word Cushite was in reference to Nilo Saharan peoples in the Nubian region and their kingdoms i.e. Kerma, Kush and Meroe.
