Games

I don't know if this is important to mention, but BTS also had another game made by them called "BTS Island: In the Seom". I think this might be good to mention since BTS World is already mentioned. Mwilliam7 (talk) 01:51, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

ARMY name date

Hi! The name ARMY was decided on 9 July 2013 ([https://x.com/BTS_twt/status/354454826756734977 this is the tweet]), not at their first fan meeting which was on 29 March 2014. So I think this part may cause misunderstandings: "Following Skool Luv Affair's release, BTS played at their first fan meeting in Seoul, selecting the name A.R.M.Y. for the fan club." Please change BTS as a 'boy band' to 'group'. A boy band is a Western concept that does not apply to Korean artistry. BTS are considered to be a group and not a band, and the correct term to refer to them would be idols or idol group. 2001:56A:DFE1:85C0:48B1:F671:7B67:EAD0 (talk) 05:02, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

:I tend to agree with the IP editor that the use of terms like "boy band" and "girl group" is inappropriate in the context of Korean and Japanese idol groups and reflects a Western cultural bias. This is an issue not only here but with many other K-pop and J-pop articles. Day Creature (talk) 06:49, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

:File:X mark.svg Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Tlx|Edit extended-protected}} template. And also refer to WP:GROUPDAB and Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (music)#RfC about the naming conventions for boy bands for relevancy. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:32, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

change the mention of "Charli XCX" to her current stage name "Charli xcx", in the "2018-2020" section of the "History" subheading. Warmtoned 🕯 talk! 13:58, 19 June 2025 (UTC)

:{{not done}}: Matches Charli XCX, the actual article. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 14:15, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
