Popularity

SOmething strange about this site - for the past few months it seems to have fallen off the Alexa ranking chart. Did it really go from in the top 1200 sites to "not in the top 100,000" in the space of four months? Rmhermen (talk) 18:12, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

:It is strange. I think since at least october 08, hudong has dwarfed en.wikipedia by 300,000+ articles (of pretty good quality too). Yet nobody mentions it? Everybody focuses on Baidu Baike but that's not even a contender right? Benjwong (talk) 02:42, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm probably missing something obvious, but how do you get at the sources of anything on Hudong? (facts, photographs, edit histories... anything) Wnt (talk) 03:24, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Weak support "Baike" just means encyclopedia. The proposed title offers instant disambiguation from Sogou Baike and Baidu Baike. The website uses the branding "抖音百科" (Douyin Baike) even though the URL is still baike.com. 162 etc. (talk) 05:37, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

  • Oppose Douyin Baike doesn't seem to be the English common name yet.
