Is the latest version "1.0 R5" correct? Where is it?
The last version on the homepage is a 0.91 from 2001. So where is the "1.0 R5" version from 2006 that is claimed to exist in this article? Please give a page for that one, or change the "last version" info to the one on the homepage. -- 92.229.69.168 (talk) 05:07, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
:I think that refers to [http://web.netcall.com.au/~pear_computers/BasiliskII.html this build] of the emulator. There are also builds from 2010 over [http://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/basilisk_ii here]. These could all be called "unofficial" releases. The entry here probably should read 0.91. First release date
Basilisk II ChangeLog [http://basilisk.cebix.net/ChangeLog] lists 23.Jan.1999 as a first alpha release and V0.7 (release 0.7-2) - 6.Oct.1999 as a first non-alpha release. However Amiga Review mentions March 1999 release as a first release date and there is no older news about Basilisk II than March 1999 on amiga-news.de. Apparently, there was also a previous open source emulator for BeOS and UNIX called "Basilisk" from the same author. Pavlor (talk) 13:46, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
