Would Map names and expanding on the Multiplayer game experience be considered FanCruft

I use wikipedia as a reference for everything and I just popped in to lookup the name of the maps in BF3 and was surprised they're not here. I'll happily add them, if it's not a waste of my time. Seems more useful than lots of the other stuff on the page (and I am a fan of the game) Please feel free to let me know.

Also, Premium includes all of the Downloadable content packs, and I'd have thought some generalisations about the particular Multiplayer game modes (and something explaining what the battlelog is and how EA have an entire site supporting your game experience which presents as a second screen while playing the game), would be more useful than the single player explanation, as it's far more likely to be the bit of the game people actually use.

I'd also clarify that the 'Synopsis' reads like a summary of the game, whereas it's really only a summary of part of the game. Co-Op mode has 6 parts to it, Single player 8 parts, Multiplayer has 9 maps (Grand Bazaar, Teheran Highway, Caspian Border, Seine Crossing, Operation Firestorm, Damavand Peak, Noshahar Canals, Kharg Island, Operation Metro), plus 4 new ones in each content pack, with several different game modes.

There are a lot of multiplayer maps in this game, and people simply reading about the game probably would not be interested in the maps in the multiplayer. So it might be Fancruft. 50.195.51.9 (talk) 17:24, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Yahtzee's "award" cannot stand on it's own.

Simply having it on the page is too vague and doesn't really explain what he thought about the game, adding what he said to "Other Responses" would be a good idea. Or it could be removed. 50.195.51.9 (talk) 17:26, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

:It's been removed several times... It was added back Oct 5th. I've taken it out again. -- ferret (talk) 17:43, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Please change the Aftermath DLC release date to November 27th, because DICE have announced that the next expansion will be released to Playstation premium members on that date and on December 4th to Xbox 360 and PC premium members, then it will be released to the non-premium members on December 11th for Playstation and December 18th for Xbox 360 and PC.

Please change "Al Bashier" to "Al Bashir" because this is consistent with the other spelling on the page.

In the "Easter Eggs" section, you ask for a citation on the proposition "Neither of these possible upcoming games has been confirmed by EA." even though it would be impossible to do so, as it is a negative statement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsgoyburu (talkcontribs) 12:21, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Please change "Sergeant Miller" to "Corporal Miller." I very recently completed the campaign and he held the rank of Corporal, not Sergeant, as mentioned by several characters in the game. 192.225.180.136 (talk) 10:07, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

Please change Mehrabad Airport to Imam Khomeini International Airport. The airport in the game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRHjPKctG5U skip to 14:54) is clearly IKIA (http://www.flickr.com/photos/37901359@N00/11736301/in/photolist-239N2-239N3-239N4-pxhXg-3ehhZR-3ehiRn-3emFBA-3emFSs-3emGub-3emGPL-4QEZ5K-4QEZBK-4QEZRa-4QF15T-4QF3Sa-4QF9Rn-4QFa76-4QFama-4QFaTp-4QFbkr-4QFbyt-4QFcmX-4QFdoe-4QFdTR-4QFeri-4QFf1R-4QFfhP-4QKaCj-4QKaTN-4QKbds-4QKbJL-4QKcJ7-4QKcYQ-4QKdes-4QKdsu-4QKdH7-4QKdYJ-4QKefL-4QKevY-4QKeLf-4QKf2A-4QKfw9-4QKkYE-4QKn2U-4QKnwN-4QKogf-4QKotN-4QKoYU-4QKpem-4QKpw7-4QKq19).

No negative reception? Reads like an advertisement

This article makes it sound like BF3 was critically acclaimed as a great game by everyone, even though it was a huge change in direction from previous games in the series (A lot of people DID have a negative reception of this game). The Reception section relies on "official" game review websites - who are often bought out and biased; I believe the reception section is therefore biased.

This games was not received well by everyone. I don't understand why WP uses ratings from Gamespot, IGN, etc because they are biased, and do not represent the USER's view, only the PAID REVIEWER's view. There are several game ratings sites that include user ratings. User ratings are typically lower. See this page: http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/battlefield-3 . Notice how the user reviews score the game at 75 based on over 4,000 reviews, where as the paid reviewers average the game at 85. That's the difference between a C grade and a B grade. Why were user ratings not mentioned? Over 4000 people who actually have played the game believe this game scores in the C range, yet an average of five to a dozen "official" reviews of people that may have been paid by EA to leave good reviews say its a B grade game. You would have the public believe their 12 PAID averaged reviews are a more truthful than what 4,897 players of the game say? Wow, that's.... skewed! Using the official reviewer's opinion is just... not accurate! Everyone knows they are paid off - at least I hope everyone editing WP knows this! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.219.204.36 (talk) 03:02, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
