:@Hairmercould you please explain how you have a conflict of interest with this article? Also, the sourcing standard here is WP:MEDRS, which is higher than for most other articles - I have no carefully evaluated but strongly suspect this source does not pass it. Rusalkii (talk) 20:27, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
:Oh, I just noticed the "paid by MHA" on your page, sorry. I don't think this is a better source than the existing ones, and I don't think it makes sense to include the number of teenagers affected in the lead. Rusalkii (talk) 20:32, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
::Ok thanks. They are a credible organization around since 1909 that have done lot's of research on mental health. Hairmer (talk) 20:48, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
Reduced "need" for sleep
There is no "reduced need for sleep". Bipolar people need to sleep normally, regardless of feeling well with little sleep. If they sleep too little, then things will only get worse for them. MathKeduor7 (talk) 12:58, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
I am not a psychiatrist, but I suffer from the disease and I know many others who suffer from it too, and what I said is right. MathKeduor7 (talk) 13:01, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
I haven't slept for three days, and I have energy to spare. But I need to sleep. That's my point. MathKeduor7 (talk) 13:05, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
"reduced need for sleep" is very common in bipolar people in mania, but what the DSM means is that it is not a sine qua non condition! MathKeduor7 (talk) 14:26, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
[[Georg Cantor]]
The great mathematician Georg Cantor was bipolar. MathKeduor7 (talk) 14:42, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
