Maryland or Missouri?
The article asserts that Battle is a Maryland native, and multiple sources can be found that support that. However, there are also multiple sources that say he was born in Springfield, Missouri. I don't know which is correct, or which sources are more reliable, but I'm pretty sure he's not from "Springfield, Maryland"—Maryland is one of the few states that doesn't have a Springfield.
