World Ceres?

Beginning work on audio recording for [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Spoken Wikipedia|Spoken Wikipedia]]

I am beginning the process of recording this article for Spoken Wikipedia, using revision [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ceres_(dwarf_planet)&oldid=1211270772%7C 1211270772] dated 1 March 2024. Greater Luxembourg (talk) 20:48, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

We CANNOT measure the mass of any of these objects

Three million or three billion?

> Gravitational influence from Jupiter and Saturn over the course of three million

Is this a typo for three billion? If not, a citation seems needed. AgingDisgracefully (talk) 22:53, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

:{{ping|AgingDisgracefully}} The source at the end of the paragraph indeed backs up that it's 3 million. Double sharp (talk) 07:22, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

Sulfur on Ceres

Riddle me this. Two quotes from the article:

: and sulfur, despite being suggested by Hubble UV observations, was not detected by Dawn

: On 9 December 2015, NASA scientists reported that the bright spots on Ceres may be related to a type of salt, particularly a form of brine containing magnesium sulfate

78.22.98.78 (talk) 20:31, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

::The first refers to the elemental sulfur and sulfur dioxide. The second to a sulfur salt. Ruslik_Zero 15:11, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
