Notability

Searching for references on this subject turned up the following information which may be useful to determine if it is notable:

  • 'Cerro' translates to 'Hill'. This should not necessarily be taken literally however since Mexico has several peaks named 'Cerro', e.g. Cerro Potosí.
  • Quinceo is a suburb to the northwest of Morelia and the location of Estadio Morelos
  • Presumably Cerro del Quinceo is what appears on Google Maps to be an extinct volcano at (19.755766, -101.257582), about 6km northwest of Quinceo. The elevation is about 2720m, about 800m higher than the stadium. While these figures are impressive, Mexico is a mountainous country and the volcano fails to meet the criteria to be included in List of mountains in Mexico.
