:That's a good question but it's standard with ancient works. The first is the "book" (i.e., scroll) number; if the second number is small, it's usually a "chapter" or "section" and, if it's big (as here), it's a line number from a poetic work. If there are three numbers, the second is the chapter and the third is the section or line. — LlywelynII 09:20, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
